3 Birds on Parade -project #1
The first image that jumped out at me was on page #1 :) I just love this simple little birdie! But as I flipped through the book I found the really cute perch on page #77 . . . I decided I had to use it with the cute little birdie on page 1. I got out my gypsy and went to work.
I had a set of long (#10) cards I picked up in the discount bin at one of my local scrapbook stores. Since I wanted to use the bird perch, I figured these long cards would be perfect, but they had a weird fold/opening- so I improvised! This is what I came up with . . .
see the weird opening? I really like the way it turned out!
Just in case anyone wanted to know what kind of cards they were . . . here's a picture of my card next to the packaging . . . and yes I scored them for $1.50!! :)
Perch was cut at 5", bird at 1.71" and sentiment was cut at 1.5"
